Showboat Atlantic City Sweet Suite
I recently had my next to last trip to Showboat in Atlantic City. This was a few days away from the big city for me. I spent the days working on my laptop and VPN and my nights in the casino. All in all it was a fine trip.
I’m not going to bother to discuss the specifics of the trip for a change. Rather I want to focus on the amazing corner suite I was given. All I had to do was ask! It was the best room I’ve ever stayed in. Here is a photo tour.
Upon entry you see the living room with HDTV, iPod docking center, couch, chairs, dining room

Steak and Eggs for breakfast. mmmmm!
Behind the Living/Dining area is a kitchen area including bar, chairs, sink, coffee maker, huge windows, trash, water, sneakers
Off behind the bar was a small alcove seating area that leads to the wrap around balcony. I spent a day working from here. Wi-Fi did not go outside to the balcony.
Here’s a view from the balcony at 7:30am. I’m an early riser and would gamble a bit until Starbucks opened and come back upstairs and enjoy the beautiful view of the Atlantic Ocean before starting my day.
Around the balcony is the bedroom which also leads to the balcony. HDTV, Bed, Sliding glass doors, remote wrap around window treatments.
The other side of the bedroom had a nice lounge. Another great place to work.
Around the corner was my favorite room. The bathroom had a 2 sinks, shower, jaccuzzi tub, water closet and TV. It was awesome.
There was a guest bathroom as you head back to the living room, but that wasn’t excited or used much. Overall this was the best room I’ve ever stayed in anywhere. There are other suites at Showboat, but these corner suites are bigger and better and include a balcony with an ocean view. To be honest, this might be the only thing that brings me back to Showboat.
