Gambling and Casino Talk from Las Vegas to Atlantic City

East Coast Gambler -

Weekend Roundup From All Over

There hasn’t been much happening in the casino world for the past week, but there were a few interesting reads.  Take a look:

  • Las Vegas Sun looks at how “The Hangover” has been a good marketing tool for Caesars Palace.  Caesars has been very aggressive using the movie.  It only makes me want to see the movie.  Perhaps this week.
  • Great boxing card this weekend in Atlantic City.  Better planning would have me there.  Instead I’ll consider pay per view.
  • Vegas Rex has a birthday!  Happy birthday Vegas Rex.  This is from the day after.
  • Gaming Atlantic takes a look at states on the east coast that are looking to add table games to their casinos.  I’m expecting every state to eventually add table games.  Just be patient.
  • Look at 4th of July deals in Las Vegas on Royally Flushed.  There’s nothing more exciting than 100 degree days and fireworks at night!
  • An interview with Holly Madison in the LA Times as her run in “Peepshow” begins at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas.  This gives me another excuse to add a picture to ECG.
