Rock and Roll at Smokin’ Hot Aces

For the tough guy gamblers that come to Vegas, the regular Las Vegas nightclubs might not be their thing.  After all, there’s only so much heart-pounding techno someone could take before they need a breath of fresh air.  There’s also the matter of picky bouncers and VIP lines, which frankly, some people just don’t want to deal with.
So if you want a casual atmosphere dripping with the hard sounds of real rock and roll, head to the Venetian for their new club Smokin’ Hot Aces.  The theme at this new venue is poker.  You’ll see flaming cards all over the place and the smiling faces of Vargas pin up girls to welcome you. A giant slot machine welcomes guests to the Smokin’ Hot Aces, and we do mean giant. 6 feet by 5 feet of slot machine glory—sure it’s not playable, but it looks awesome.

Despite not having the typical club vibe, you will still hear plenty of music at Smokin’ Hot Aces.  DJ’s are regularly on hand to spin legendary rock hits by groups like Led Zeppelin and more. Unlike other clubs, the DJ’s at Smokin’ Hot Aces will take your requests and play them as well.   If you want to get your music the old school method, there’s even an authentic working jukebox, so make sure you have some extra cash on hand. When you throw in Smokin’ Hot Aces’ stage, which can accommodate both local and national rock bands, you have the definitive hot spot for rock and roll in Vegas.  This spot had its grand opening over the New Year’s Eve weekend, featuring live bands, a champagne toast, and a complimentary breakfast buffet to soak up all the alcohol at 3 am.
Smokin’ Hot Aces was the idea of Miami plastic surgeon Leonard Roudner, who decided it was about time that he brought his passion of rock and roll music to Las Vegas. We’re sure the bar and lounge will be the perfect haven for people in the music scene of Sin City, making Smokin’ Hot Aces “The New home for Rock ‘n’ Roll in Las Vegas.”
