It was a fun week for ECG. I was able to get to write up the hotels from my trip to Vegas. This week I’ll tackle food, gambling and what it’s like traveling solo to Las Vegas.
I’m not sure what I did, but I deleted some things that seem to have the site running a little faster. The next version of ECG, hopefully coming this summer, should be even faster.
There was a lot of action this week, enjoy the look back.
Wow, that was a busy week. I didn’t realize how much action there was.
I started another fun aggregating site for East Coast Gambler – Flavors. It’s nothing too fancy, it just has links to all of the East Coast Gambler pages. It’s pretty, take a look.
I’ve returned home from a solo vacation to Las Vegas and I’m ready to go back already. Not ready to leave today, but ready to plan for my next adventure. I had a great time and met a lot of nice people. This week in review looks back at some of my trip and some casino information from Atlantic City. There’s also a cool new sports betting tracker app that I’m looking forward to trying.
The major news this week was Harrah’s takeover of Planet Hollywood. There seems to be lots of hate towards Harrah’s from everything I read and hear in podcasts. I like whoever treats me best. Harrah’s treats me ok. Not great and not awful. I’ll give this time to unfold before making judgement. I’ll be able to experience the change, first hand, at Planet Hollywood when I visit Las Vegas in April.
I, finally, caught up on most of my December trip to Las Vegas. See the gambling fun below.
There has been much talk about CityCenter, and its parts, opening to the public. After reading many articles and listening to a slew of podcasts my feelings are mixed.
I’m excited to look at the shiny new “city” of buildings but I’m also managing expectations because many flaws have been pointed out to me.
I want to share the pictures and articles that I’ve read over the past week. There is plenty of eye candy and reading below.
It was a slow week by comparison to the previous few weeks, but I was able to spend some time to make a few updates to ECG that I just haven’t had the time to.
